Capital: Vathias. An empire, not a state. Voir's crown has never quite made it say otherwise.
Vathia occupies the center-north of Voir, and looks it, jagged mountain peaks, mist-veiled keeps, and an undead nobility old enough that most of them stopped counting birthdays centuries ago. Its Empress was made a vampire by the same being Korone keeps sealed in an Iüdex Ice Prison far to the north: the first vampire ever made. Whatever loyalty or grudge binds Empress to maker, no one in Vathia discusses it above a whisper.
The same Ice & Lava Rivers that thread beneath Korone's glacier begin here, in Vathia's western mountains, before running north into Korone's own network, a border the two nations share without ever quite agreeing on where it starts.
